The Zenith Ministry
WHO WE ARE
The Zenith Ministry is the youth ministry of FBCS. It exists to fulfil the vision of the church and focuses on equipping the youths with both the Word of God and the know-how to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit through prayer.
The word 'zenith' could refer to the upper region of the sky, the peak or the highest point and connotes excellence and distinction - qualities and characteristics we want to see in our youths and in everything they do. In this ministry, we help our youths excel.
Everyone needs directions in life and the only way to excel is to be in the perfect will of God, and thus the key focuses allow our youths to pray out God's plan for their lives - the preordained plans as written in Psalms 139:16 [AMP]: "Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape..." - and to seek God for directions as they transit from one phase to another in their lives, including which school to go to, which course/module to select, what jobs to take, etc. Our youths are not just trained to pray for themselves, but also for others - their peers, the nation and beyond.
We keep watch over the lives of the youths as they take steps in following God and eventually making the transition into adulthood and entering the corporate world. We believe God is moulding and preparing them for a bright future ahead. We see His plans for their lives come to fruition - the lives of our youths are a living testimony to God's faithfulness.
