Faith Bible Church Singapore

THE COMMISSION

Faith Family Church Singapore was pioneered by Senior Pastor, Rev. Yew-Kwong Cheong in 1997. While receiving his pastoral training in RHEMA Bible Training Center, USA (1995-1997), Pastor Yew-Kwong received a vision from the Lord to pioneer a dynamic praying church in Singapore.

The vision of Faith Family Church Singapore is to fulfill the vision God gave to the late Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin. The Lord said to him in 1950, "GO TEACH MY PEOPLE FAITH. I've taught you faith through My Word. I permitted you to go through certain experiences, and you've learned faith both through My Word and by experience. Now go teach My people what I've taught you."

Upon returning to Singapore in 1997, Rev. Yew-Kwong Cheong and his wife, Sis Geok Eng started two prayer groups (consisting of 25 people).

This nucleus group further led to our first Sunday worship service on 6 July 1997, with 36 adults and 8 children.
